Debris pile burning will begin February 26, 2026, and continue intermittently until April 30, 2026, as part of ongoing FireSmart work in the Nordegg area. Smoke may be visible at times. Burning will only occur under safe conditions. If you're planning on lighting a brush pile in Clearwater County, don't forget to complete a burn notification. To submit a burn notification, visit: https://www.clearwatercounty.ca/burnnotifications or call the 24-hour burn notification line at 403-845-7711.
