Public Hearings

Public hearings are an opportunity for people who are affected by projects or proposals to address Clearwater County Council during regular Council meetings. Public hearing are required by the Municipal Government Act (MGA) as part of the adoption or amendment process for statutory plans, the Clearwater County's Land Use Bylaw, or as necessary.

Development Permit Approvals

The following development permits have been approved or conditionally approved under the provisions of Clearwater County's Land Use Bylaw.

Anyone claiming to be affected by such decision may appeal the decision by serving written notice of appeal within twenty-one (21) days of the date of the decision.

 NOTICE is hereby given that the Development Officer or the Municipal Planning Commission of Clearwater County has approved the issuing of development permits for the following Permitted uses:

 Development Permit 125/24 Division 5 Dean and Kari Henkel for the legalization of an ancillary building on Plan 072 0808, Block 1, Lot 16 (Pt. SW 27-39-08-W5M).  Date of Decision: July 17, 2024

Development Permit 130/24 Division 2 Stan and Lucy Hake for the placement of a manufactured home and addition to replace the existing residence on NE 11-40-05-W5M. Date of Decision: July 18, 2024

 Development Permit 128/24 Division 5 Brooklyn Gettis on behalf of Ryan Gettis for the legalization of a manufactured home on Plan 002 3324, Lot 2 (Pt. NE 19-40-06-W5M). Date of Decision: July 17, 2024

 Development Permit 129/24 Division 6 Cheryl Steeves for the construction of an ancillary building on NW 07 35-04-W5M. Date of Decision: July 17, 2024

 Development Permit 132/24 Division 6 Richard Livingston for the legalization of an ancillary building on SW 08-35-05-W5M. Date of Decision: July 17, 2024

Development Permit 133/24 Division 2 Wayne Pidhirney for the placement of a manufactured home on Plan 222 0342 Block 1, Lot 2 (Pt. NW 20-39-04-W5M). Date of Decision: July 19, 2024
