A 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐍 is in now in effect for all of Clearwater County. Under this ban, all outdoor wood fires are prohibited, and existing fire permits are suspended. Prohibited: • All outdoor wood fires are banned, including wood campfires on public lands, wood campfires on private land and provincial campgrounds • Backyard firepits • BBQ charcoal briquettes • The use of fireworks and exploding targets Allowed: • Propane fire pits and natural gas-powered appliances • Indoor wood fires • Open flame oil devices The fire ban will remain in effect until conditions improve.
