Visitor Friendly Assessment

In 2017, the David Thompson Country Regional Tourism Working Group partnered with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and contracted Expedition Management Consulting to perform a Visitor Friendly Assessment.  This assessment is a part of the Regional Tourism Strategy that the Village of Caroline, Town or Rocky Mountain House and Clearwater County approved in August of 2016.

During the summer of 2017, Expedition visited a variety of businesses in Caroline, Rocky Mountain House, Nordegg, Leslieville and Clearwater County.  The results of the assessment were published in a Visitor Friendly Assessment report, and presented the findings to the three local municipalities.

The report will be used by the David Thompson Country Regional Tourism Working Group, to update the Regional Tourism Strategy, to be presented to all three Councils by the end of 2018.
